Boca Grande returns to the Plough with a brand new menu + extensive drinks list too!

Taco pop-up “Boca Grande” returns to the Plough in Harborne with a brand new menu, extensive tequila & mescal list and selection of Mexican beers & frozen Margaritas.

The Garden Kitchen take-over begins Friday, 4th May and runs all day, every day throughout the Summer with a selection of new dishes on the menu and one of the largest tequila lists the city has to offer.

Lee Coliandris, Events Manager at The Plough explained, “We’re really excited to be bringing Boca Grande back with a bigger, completely new taco menu, plus we’re including other South American-influenced dishes and are planning some great events throughout June, July & August.

Our garden is being transformed by GraffitiArtist.com, who will be putting their stamp on the outdoor kitchen and bar areas. All this plus this years World Cup, we’ve got a really exciting Summer ahead!”

The menu in full; 

  • Black Pepper Prawn w/ spring onion + chilli
  • Carnitas Pork w/ spiced apple + mint
  • Baked Cod w/ lime + ginger
  • Lemongrass Chicken w/ ginger + lime slaw
  • Beef Brisket + black bean chili w/ tomato salsa + chimichurri
  • Chipotle + Quinoa chilli w/ avocado + crispy parsnip
  • All our tacos are finished with shallots and coriander
