Another beautiful old pub saved from a more commercial use. Taken on by Bitters N’ Twisted the Victorian interior has been retained and brought out in a sympathetic and stylish way with a cool edge, from the unique wallpaper to the red telephone box, antlers hanging in the snug with the stunningly tiled fireplace to the large stained glass windows, this pub is something quite special.
There’s a small terraced area out front with a small beer garden out back and a sheltered graffiti adorned seating area. Inside there are two large ornate bars with a snug and function room upstairs.
The Rose Villa can get quite busy but you never have to wait long for a drink. There’s a world of vodka from American vodkas like Titos handmade vodka, made in copper pot to Snow Queen vodka from Kazakhstan… If you’re a Vodka lover or simply want to discover more about this surprising spirit, the team will introduce you to some of the tastiest vodkas!
With over 100 different vodkas in the bar, they are also proud to have English vodka such as Two Birds Vodka with a range of incredible flavours – Salted caramel vodka for pudding anyone? And for more extravagant flavours, why not try the Curio Cocoa Nib vodka from Cornwall?
It’s not everyday you get a classic American style dinner, served along side hand crafted cocktails all in a grand old building! The food is superb with Burgers and Subs, and plenty of weekly events. There are plenty of ales on tap, all of which contribute to a relaxed atmosphere of drinkers and diners in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
