August 2017 saw the launch of The Indian Streatery- a successful translation of a street food vendor to a restaurant concept bringing Indian street food and traditional home-style dishes to Birmingham city centre.
Two years on, the team have branched out to give us The Indian Streatery Express.
It is an expansion of their popular ‘grab and go’ lunch time concept, where chaats and curry hotpots are served from a street-cart style counter in keeping with the team’s street food roots. The Indian Streatery Express will provide delicious, authentic and fresh restaurant quality food in a more convenient format for busy city workers and shoppers alike.
The menu will feature street food favourites current including Samosa and Pakora chaats, chicken, lentil and vegan hotpots with some exciting new additions such as healthy salads, Frankie rolls and ‘loaded’ masala fries which have become a firm favourite on the restaurant menu. These will be joined by chai, fresh juices and craft beers from local independent brewers.
Located in the city’s iconic Bullring shopping centre, The Indian Streatery Express will bring colour, vibrancy and artwork in a casual, relaxed environment providing both indoor and outdoor seating. An exciting addition to the ever-growing and exciting independent food scene in Birmingham!
