Local charity needs old bikes for refugees donated this weekend

A small Birmingham charity needs your help! The Bike Project donates second-hand bikes to refugees, who are required to live on £37.75 a week and are not allowed to work. Bikes allow refugees to save money on transport, get a safe means to exercise and so much more!

Sadly The Bike Project is now running low on second-hand bikes. So this weekend they’re hosting a pop-up donation drive. The more bikes they get in, the more refugees they can help!

How can you help?

If you have an old bike that’s not being used, all you have to do is bring it to the below location this Saturday. Their mechanics are standing by to refurbish it and donate it.

This Saturday 20th February.

11-3pm
The Old Print Works

498-506 Moseley Rd, Balsall Heath, Birmingham B12 9AH

They accept any bike, in any condition!
