Isaac’s restaurant, a New York-style brasserie on Barwick Street in central Birmingham, will open its doors on Thursday 24th June bringing a taste and the hustle and bustle of New York to the heart of the city.
New York may be the city that never sleeps but it’s also the city that never stops eating. Isaac’s big apple inspired menu takes in comfort food such as sidewalk-worthy hot dogs with sauerkraut, mustard & ketchup, 30-day aged New York strip steak and classic Ceaser salad alongside iconic brasserie dishes and a selection of seafood from rock oysters and lobster, to seabass and cod with grits.
The dessert menu includes New York cheesecake, baked Alaska (designed to share), pecan pie and cookie dough smores.
Executive Chef, Adam Bateman, said,
Isaac’s is a neighbourhood restaurant with a New York vibe and a pinch of Brum. The menu combines brasserie classics with American comfort food: it’s easy and affordable whether you want to dial your evening up or down.
Rounding off the menu is a list of Old and New World wines, as well as indulgent milkshakes, while Isaac’s bar serves up bourbons, classic cocktails, and beers on tap: perfect for after-work drinks and lazy weekends.
Isaac’s is nestled beneath The Grand Hotel Birmingham with its own entrance on Barwick Street. Housed in one of Birmingham’s most iconic buildings on Colmore Row, the luxury hotel is a Grade II* listed building that re-opened on Tuesday 18th May after a £45million refurbishment.
