Those wishing they were on the slopes in Aspen or Val d’Isere are in for a treat as a cosy ski lodge style pop up bar has opened on St Martin’s Balcony outside Bullring for the festive season.
Open daily from 11am until 28th December, Après Ski Bar will be serving a range of festive favourites including mulled wine, winter cocktails, hot chocolate and frosty steins of German Bier. Guests can re-fuel with traditional après ski dishes.
With a snug Alpine setting, Après Ski is a magical spot to take a break from the Christmas shopping, or for a festive meet up on the piste with your mates. Complete with wooden chalets and even cute cable cars with room for up to 10 people it’s the perfect selfie spot – no-one will guess it’s not Chamonix.
Dion Cox, Managing Director at Leisure Events, the company behind Après Ski said: “We’re hoping Birmingham will love getting into the Christmas spirit here at Après Ski and that kids (big and small!) will enjoy the festive atmosphere.
“Whether it’s après work drinks with colleagues or a much-needed break from the seemingly relentless Christmas shopping, there’s a menu of winter warmers to suit all tastes.”
Nita Chambers, Head of Commercialisation at Bullring added: “We are delighted that Après Ski has come to Bullring and know our visitors will love soaking up the ambience of the ski slopes here in Birmingham.”
Après Ski overlooks St Martin’s Church and is open 11am- 10pm Monday to Saturday and between 11am – 8pm on Sunday until 28th December.
