Autumn entertainment in The Studio at The Core Theatre, Solihull

The Studio at The Core Theatre in Solihull plays host to a variety of exciting and entertaining shows this Autumn, with something to suit all tastes!

On Friday 13 September you can see Trust, a script-in-hand sharing of an emotional drama penned by local writer Liz John. Tickets are free but must be pre-booked.

You can catch top live blues acts at The Core’s regular Henry’s Blueshouse nights, including PJ Baker’s Blues Irregulars on Friday 20 September. Don’t miss a soulful extravaganza with PJ’s mesmerizing singing, harmonica, and guitar skills.

On Friday 27 September, Greg Byron the ‘stand up poet’ delivers verses on life, the universe and everything(ish), all performed with a twinkle, a laugh, and a wry pointy finger! 

Don’t miss Botown – the Soul of Bollywood on Saturday 28 September. This super-tight ensemble of multicultural musicians take Bollywood grooves and infuse them with a soulful funk twist.

Looking ahead to October, get ready for an uplifting night of laughter with Desi Central on Saturday 5 October and a hilarious lineup of top comics, including Jay Sodagar, Farhan Solo, Noreen Khan and Prince Abdi.

On Friday 18 October, The Soul Connection bring the magic of classic 60s soul music to The Core. With spine-tingling vocals, a driving rhythm section, and tight horns, this group doesn’t just play the hits – they create an unforgettable live experience.

On Saturday 19 October, Ode to Joyce is a celebration of the songs and monologues of Joyce Grenfell, one of the greatest female entertainers of the twentieth century.

Then on Saturday 26 October join us for a special evening with former ELO2 star Phil Bates, as he performs an acoustic set up close and personal.
