The Old Crown will be hosting this year’s Oktoberfest celebrations in Digbeth! On Saturday 11th & 18th October, they’ll be celebrating the event’s eighth year with live music from Heavy Beat Brass Band, German street food and beer from the streets of Munich supplied by Paulaner. Prost!
The gardens of Birmingham’s oldest pub will be transformed into a Bavarian beer hall for two nights of fantastic themed events this October.
Alongside the live brass ensembles, the pub will be serving up German-themed street food in their covered gardens, as well as steins full of tasty German beer from Paulaner.
Digbeth Oktoberfest has been running since 2015, and initially took place at The Old Crown before moving to The Custard Factory for future events. This year sees the iconic festival taking place in the brand new garden at The Old Crown for what is set to be an amazing two weeks of events. It’s about stein!
Ciaran Healy, the owner of the pub, said “We’ve been a part of Digbeth Oktoberfest since 2015, and we can’t wait for the festival to finally return to The Old Crown after so many years. We hope you’re as excited as we are to celebrate German culture, music, food and beer with us this October.”
