2024 proved to be quite a year for The Lost Notes with stand-out performances across the country including Shrewsbury Folk Festival and their first international gig at the Costa Festival, Portugal where they were fortunate enough to join members of Fairport Convention and Anthony John Clarke on stage for a song. They then released their 3rd album “GOOD LUCK SHOES” which was selected as Editor’s Choice by the British Country Music Association, was album of the week on British Country Music Radio and played on BBC Radio. It received widespread positive reviews including:
“Three-part vocal harmonies that would make even a Beach Boy sit up and take notice… Good Luck Shoes is a polished, highly accomplished album, performed by a band of polished, highly accomplished musicians.” At The Barrier
“Coming across as a blend of Crosby Stills and Nash and the better acoustic elements of contemporary country, this Birmingham quintet have managed to pull in some jazz influences as well .. .worthy to sit with the best of Laurel Canyon circa 1974.” FATEA Magazine
