The world is a book and those who don’t travel, begin and end their lives on a single page.
That being said, the first thought that comes to our mind is “Where to go”. The world is a diverse collection of different places one can visit.
You want landscapes, visit Switzerland, you want beaches, go to Australia, Maldives and Malaysia, you like deserts, plan a trip to The Sahara. You should plan everything including the place you want to visit, hotels to stay and platforms to book online flights.
WHY THE MIDDLE EAST:
The Middle East, a collection of 16 different countries, is in fact one of the least travelled regions of the world.
This is mainly due to the fact that this region has mostly been famous for wars which went on for decades at times. But now I feel it is high time that travelers see the other side of the picture of this region.
The Middle East is a region which contains many wonderful locations that might attract the eyes of travelers.
Whether you are looking for forest adventures, family tours, hunting expeditions, historical tours or just luxurious trips, you are in for a mouthwatering, eye opening experience in the Middle East.
PLAN YOUR TRIP:
A trip to the Middle East requires only a little planning as compared to other parts of the world. All you have to do is select a location, out of the 16 countries, according to your liking and taste.
There are a lot of options to choose from. For example, you could go to Dubai, the most popular of all. The Burj Khalifa is a great tourist attraction there. Or you could plan to visit Jordan, where you get to see the ancient city of Petra, go scuba diving in the Dead Sea or just walk the paths of Amman.
WHEN TO GO:
The ideal time for a visit to this region is between the months of March to May. This time of the year allows for comfortable travelling to these regions as temperatures are moderate.
Any time before or after the suggested months will result in the person travelling through extremely hot climates, which would be a rather uncomfortable journey.
BUDGETING:
A trip to any part of The Middle East can be arranged in a very low budget as compared to the Western Regions of the world. For travelers going to Turkey or Iran, it is quite cheap as you can get a dorm for $10 to $15 per head and visa and ticket cost is also quite low.
If you plan to visit Jordan, Dubai and the likes, keep in mind that the expense would be a little more than in Turkey or Iran.
The dorm might cost around $50 to $120 per night in these locations. Moreover it would be a good idea to spend $113 per head on a Jordan Pass if you plan to go to Jordan.
This pass covers the cost of your visa and allows access to 40 different locations in Jordan which are classified as the country’s top attractions.
All in all this Pass will save you a minimum of $25 per head of entry fee in the country and all the entry fees people have to pay to enter the 40 tourist attractions which might amount up to another $45 to $65 per head of saved amount.
So, to sum it up, the Jordan Pass will allow you to save at least $70 to $90 per head, which can, later on, be spent on accommodation or food.
Food is also quite cheap in Jordan as compared to Dubai. A single meal would cost you only $2 per head if you eat the local cuisine.
The local cuisine consists of kebabs, meats, vegetables, rice (various forms), teas and juices.
Getting around in Jordan is also quite easy. You could travel on buses if you are up for it. Bus rides are the cheapest way to travel within Jordan as bus fares are quite low here.
These buses are quite comfortable and even provide free Wi-Fi for the duration of the journey.
CONCLUSION:
There are many Budget Comfortable destinations in The Middle East. Jordan and Turkey are the cheapest with the most attractions.
A trip to any of these locations might cost you around $1000 per head for a week of enjoyment, adventure and a collection of the best memories.
