For Birmingham locals who struggle to find a balance between keeping fit and maintaining a healthy social life, on Wednesday 18 May, The Botanist has the answer.
In a first for the city, the Temple Street bar is collaborating with Yoga Sweat, founder, Andrea Hassett to bring her expertise to a new class of budding yoga fans.
Andrea set up the Severn Street studio in 2014 with a mission to bring a new, unique yoga offering to the people of Birmingham. Having practiced the discipline for 14 years and instructed for seven, Andrea is now bringing her experience and expertise to a one-off class at The Botanist.
Andrea said:
I am passionate about what I do and always relish the opportunity to bring the craft to a new audience. I’ve practiced yoga all over the world, but this will be my first time in a cocktail bar, so I’m really excited for what’s set to be a really fun morning at The Botanist!
The session will take place on Wednesday 18 May at 8am. Tickets cost £10 and include a 40 minute yoga class and post-work out green tea to kick start your Wednesday morning.
Alice Welchman, business development manager at The Botanist, said:
We are really excited to bring a new concept to the bar and to be working with such a talented yoga instructor who has gained experience across the globe.
It’s often so hard to strike a balance between getting to the gym or getting to the bar to see friends, well now you can do both! There has already been a lot of interest around the class and with only 15 spaces available I urge everyone to book their place sooner rather than later, to avoid disappointment.
