Birmingham-Based Publication Wins Parliamentary Jazz Award

THE JAZZ RAG MAGAZINE, PRODUCED IN BIRMINGHAM BUT NATIONALLY-DISTRIBUTED, HAS WON THE 2023 JAZZ PUBLICATION AWARD IN THIS YEAR’S PARLIAMENTARY JAZZ AWARDS.

THE JAZZ RAG, PART OF BIG BEAR MUSIC GROUP WHICH INCLUDES THE BIRMINGHAM JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL, IS A BI-MONTHLY 36 PAGE PUBLICATION AVAILABLE IN PRINT AND ONLINE. 

THE AWARDS ARE ORGANISED BY THE ALL-PARTY PARLIAMENTARY JAZZ GROUP (APPJG) WHICH HAS 116 MEMBERS FROM BOTH THE HOUSE OF COMMONS AND THE HOUSE OF LORDS. THEY AIM TO ENCOURAGE A WIDER AND DEEPER ENJOYMENT OF JAZZ.

In making this award The APPJG said:
