Birmingham’s First All Vegan Eatery to Arrive in the city!

Birmingham is getting ready for the arrival of a vegan-friendly, sugar free eatery right in the heart of the City Centre.

Following the success of their Digbeth site, which opened in September 2015, Natural Healthy Foods are keen to continue promoting a healthier lifestyle for foodies in and around Birmingham.

With over 2,000 top-quality products available in their current store, Natural Healthy Foods are promising to bring a selection of diverse ingredients and cooking essentials to their new eatery, for those choosing to embrace a plant-based diet.

Bringing with him, a wealth of nutritional experience, Simon McCarroll CEO of Natural Healthy Foods says:

Opening an all vegan café in the heart of the city seemed like the next step for us.

We’ve already built up a strong customer base at our Digbeth store, but we’re now looking for the next challenge, stocking our regular products along with having a variety of hot meals available which will be served fresh from our in-store kitchen.

The eatery which will be located on Suffolk Street, Queensway, will offer visitors a selection of gluten free, hot and raw food and organic vegan options, alongside a range of beverages such as Kombucha, a fermented tea drink, which is good for digestion, a strong immune system and an essential energy boost!

It’s not surprising that the team at Natural Healthy Foods have chosen to open the new eatery, with reports that many people are choosing to lead a healthier lifestyle, and nearly 50% changing their eating habits altogether.

Simon, who believes a change in his diet helped cure his unexpected diagnosis of Pancreatitis, says

Many people see the term vegan, and can often stereotype this with bland, flavorless food, but that’s simply not the case. We just want to raise awareness of the health benefits that natural food gives us and also how tasty everything can be, so we hope people come along and try it out.

The brand new venue, which will seat 54 people, is planning to launch next month, and will stock more than 1500 products, as well as offering the city’s best range of organic fruit and vegetables.
