Legendary British rhythm and blues band, The Manfreds, are thrilled to announce their highly anticipated 30-date UK tour, for October and November 2025. Their Maximum Rhythm N Blues Show promises an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages, celebrating the enduring legacy of one of the most iconic bands in British music history.

The Manfreds were born from the original members of the 1960s chart-topping band Manfred Mann, known for their infectious blend of rhythm and blues, jazz, and pop that captivated audiences worldwide, taking them from the blues revival scene to the masses on the wave of ‘The British Invasion’.

With a career spanning over six decades, The Manfreds have become synonymous with a timeless sound that has left an indelible mark on British culture.

The band’s journey began in the early 1960s when Manfred Mann burst onto the scene with hits like “5-4-3-2-1,” composed as the theme tune for the iconic TV show Ready Steady Go!. Their distinctive sound, characterized by sharp lyrics and bluesy rhythms, quickly propelled them to the top of the charts. Iconic songs like “Do Wah Diddy Diddy,” “Pretty Flamingo,” and “The Mighty Quinn” cemented their status as pop legends, all reaching No.1 on the UK Singles Chart.

Over the years, The Manfreds have enjoyed a remarkable resurgence, with sold-out tours, critically acclaimed performances, and a loyal fan base that spans generations. The band’s ability to stay true to their roots while evolving their sound has ensured their music remains as relevant today as it was in the 60s. Recent tours have seen The Manfreds bring their classic hits to life, captivating audiences with their raw energy and masterful musicianship.

The current lineup of The Manfreds includes original members Paul Jones (vocals, harmonica) and Tom McGuinness (guitar, vocals), along with Marcus Cliffe (bass), Simon Currie (saxophone), Pete Riley (drums), and Mike Gorman (keyboards). Together, they deliver a powerhouse performance that has earned them rave reviews and reaffirmed their place as one of Britain’s most beloved bands.

Earlier this year, The Manfreds performed a triumphant set at Glastonbury, cementing their legacy as one of Britain’s best-loved bands; and Paul Jones performed Manfreds songs on BBC Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny at the turn of 2024.

Joining The Manfreds on this tour is the extraordinary vocalist Noel McCalla, known for his work with the iconic band Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and his acclaimed solo career. McCalla’s soulful voice and dynamic stage presence will add an exciting dimension to the Maximum Rhythm N Blues Show, making this tour a must-see event for music lovers across the UK.

Paul Jones comments, “I’m eagerly anticipating another great tour – not only with the magnificent Manfreds, but also with the marvellous Mister McCalla”

Tom McGuiness adds, “Really looking forward to being back-on-the-road again and to making the musical acquaintance of Noel McCalla”

Noel McCalla said, “Superb, what a privilege to be invited to share the stage with The Manfreds. What’s not to be excited about? A treat in store”.

The Manfreds’ Maximum Rhythm N Blues Show will be a celebration of the band’s rich musical heritage and their significant contribution to British pop culture. Fans can expect a night filled with nostalgia, featuring classic hits, deep cuts, and a few surprises along the way.

With a setlist that spans their entire career, The Manfreds will take audiences on a journey through the evolution of British rhythm and blues, highlighting the songs that have defined an era.
