Café Colette is a brand-new art-deco style bar which has recently opened on Lower Trinity Street, Digbeth.
The venue has a 1920’s feel, with a modern twist, bespoke cocktails, street food from Digbeth Dining Club and local DJ’s mixing old and new music styles to offering a fresh take on the Digbeth vibe. Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4pm until midnight Café Colette is the perfect after work destination and pre-club bar.
Colette’s Sundown Club is their new weekly soiree held every Thursday from 4pm. The Wilderness are taking over the bar during March, with a cocktail menu curated by the award-winning James Bowker. DJ’s play a chilled-out mix of tunes whilst street food is of course provided by the incredible Digbeth Dining Club.
Upcoming guest DJ’s include Milo Sadler (March 15th), Ollie Lloyd (March 22nd) with resident DJs Mazzy Snape, and Liam Roberts on rotation.
Ollie Lloyd is a DJ and record collector of rare funk, jazz and beats for over twenty years. Ollie has played to discerning crowds all over the UK and Europe over the years.
As creator and owner of The Yardbird, he has brought artists such as Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Marva Whitney and Brian Auger to Birmingham and has a passion for educating people about real music via turntables.
Milo Sadler is a relatively new DJ on the scene who plays a mix of soul, reggae, laid back hip hop, funk and disco. He has guested at venues such as One Trick Pony, The Night Owl and the Hare & Hounds.
