Dishoom have brand new festive specials: the Dishoom Turkey Raan Bun (there’s a Vegan Raan Bun, too), and the Bun Maska Pudding. They’re available in the café now. They’ve also launched a pop-up Christmas bar on the Dishoom Birmingham veranda, overlooking the city’s sparkling Christmas market. TURKEY RAAN BUN
Whole turkey leg is prepared in the traditional Indian raan style until meltingly tender. The meat is then piled into a warm brioche bun amidst cranberry mayo, spinach, onions and a gentle slice of brie. Enjoy with Dishoom slaw, salli crisp-chips and deep-fried green chillies. 13.90
