Coffee and Cakes with a ‘Be At One’ Twist

The cocktail institution Be At One is shaking up the traditional coffee morning to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Be At One has 33 bars across the UK and all the venues will be taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning fundraiser on Friday 30th September.

There will be a twist though as there will be no coffee and cakes on offer, instead Be At One will be giving 25p to the charity for every Blueberry Muffin or Espresso Martini cocktails sold on the night.

In addition to this, the first 20 Blueberry Muffins bought on its award-winning smartphone app, will be £5 with £1 of this being donated to Macmillan.

Anne-Marie Clarke-Mills is brand marketing manager at Be At One and said it is really important for them to get involved in events like this.

“We’re aiming to raise at least £1,500 as we reached £773 for Project Waterfall earlier this year based on Espresso Martini sales alone. It would be great to see as many of our guests as possible joining us for cocktails and helping to raise money for such a great cause.”

Pernod Ricard, Be At One’s main supplier, will also be making a contribution to the funds based on the total raised.

Be At One offers over 150 different cocktail concoctions, one of the largest in the industry, and prides itself on the exceptional service and showmanship offered by their extensively trained bartenders.
