Everything Digbeth – Christmas Market comes to the Creative Quarter this winter

Zellig and Digbeth Arts Space present the Everything Digbeth Christmas Market, a family-friendly open day in the heart of the Creative Quarter.

The event follows the huge success of the Everything Digbeth Open Day held in June earlier this year, which brought an influx of over 2,000 people to the area.

The festive celebrations will take place in and around Gibb Street from 12pm – 5pm, welcoming a host of local businesses and independent traders ready to present their seasonal offerings.

Visitors can tick off some Christmas shopping across the makers market, fashion stalls and open art studios, and enjoy fantastic food, drink and live music from local vendors and artists.

The Christmas spirit will be in full swing with vendors selling festive decor, tree ornaments and wreaths. There will also be some exciting activities for children too – including Santa’s grotto and throughout the day local magician extraordinaire Ed Quigley will be mesmerising visitors with close up magic!

Everything Digbeth have also partnered with local charity SIFA Fireside for this event, who will be hosting a vintage clothes’ rail collection in aid of those facing, at risk of, or in recovery from the effects of homelessness.

Other traders and stalls include: Joule Design Emporium (original artwork and prints by local illustrator Ruth Salton), Prickly Subjects (houseplants), Tahirahs (handmade jewellery), Hot Tramp Trends (vintage clothing), Love Lane Brownies plus more to be confirmed.

Tickets are completely free, although visitors can opt for entry that includes a mince pie and hot chocolate or mulled wine for just £2.00. Tickets are available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/everything-digbeth-christmas-market-2024-tickets
