The Digbeth pub will be hosting the Foka Wolf Experience concluding with a charity auction for Parkinson’s UK on 12th September 2021
Foka Wolf brings unseen works and installations together at an exhibit in Digbeth opening on 8th September 2021 running through to 12th September 2021.
The Birmingham artist has become prolific for their Guerrilla art pieces that have popped up across the city. One of his most recent works, the Pat Butcher mural in Digbeth, has captured media attention across the country.
The event begins with a special opening night, where visitors can enjoy live music from local artists Liamosino and The Transmission along with the opportunity to get up close and personal with some truly fantastic pieces of art.
The Foka Wolf experience will conclude with a charity auction for Parkinson’s UK hosted by Tatvision, local YouTube personality, where businesses and individuals are encouraged to come forward and bid for an opportunity to take home art from this exclusive, unseen collection. The first 50 people to arrive for the auction and opening night will also receive a complimentary special prize.
Foka Wolf and The Old Crown will be partnering with Parkinson’s UK for this event with proceeds from ticket sales and the auction being donated to the charity.
Speaking on the upcoming exhibition, Foka Wolf said;
“I am having an event at The Old Crown, Digbeth. The opening will be on Wednesday 8th September 2021 followed by a charity auction on Sunday 12th September which will be raising money for Parkinson’s UK.
Over the last year, people at the bottom have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. I feel like I have an opportunity and a duty to give something back and that is why I will be holding this auction. It will include various pieces from local artists, businesses and myself in this once in a lifetime event.
There are limited seats available – with the first 100 people in on Wednesday receiving a special prize.”
The Foka Wolf Experience will be opening on Wednesday 8th September and close on Sunday 12th September running from 5PM to 11:30PM on both nights.
