This festive season Anawim – Birmingham’s Centre for Women – is asking supporters to consider giving the most festive of gifts: peace.
Peace looks like different things to different people. It could be a taxi to a place of safety, supplies for a crafting class, or a set of fresh clothes on release from prison. It could be access to our drop-in, a bag of food from our foodbank, or even support from a specialist caseworker in court.
Things many of us take for granted – phone credit, a hot shower, money for the bus – aren’t available to everyone, and at Anawim we’d like to change that. We want to be able to provide our women with the things they need to be able to enjoy this festive season, and the year ahead. Any donation, big or small, will play a part in achieving this.
Help us give peace to women this Christmas. Any money donated will be spent where there is greatest need within Anawim’s work.
