BRIT award winners Jump the Shark are headlining a special gig to help raise money for a potentially life-changing operation for a local 10-year-old.
Silvershores and Grim Disco will join them at The Flapper on April 29th, with all proceeds going towards a much-needed spinal operation for Izzy, who has cerebral palsy. This operation may enable her to walk unaided and live her life more independently.
Izzy’s was born 9 weeks premature, and mainly uses a wheelchair to get around. Her mum Dawn says, “Izzy wants to be like her friends and be able to walk and run. She’s such a bright and bubbly 10-year-old and it seems so unfair she can’t enjoy her life the way she wants to.”
The bands will be putting on a great night of indie, psych, and alternative music that has the added benefit of helping someone in need, so come along and you’ll be sure to have a fantastic time.
Tickets are £4 in advance, available from The Ticket Sellers website or on the door for £5. You can also donate through the Just Giving page by searching ‘Izzy Bizzy.’
