Mr Jerk’s Reggae and Jamaican Foodie event is celebrating its first birthday.
Join the party for a all-dayer on Bank Holiday Monday 28 August from 1200-2230 at Hawker Yard for authentic Jamaican jerk BBQ, rum cocktails, Reggae, ska, Rock-steady, live music and a game of dominoes.
Reggae Caribbean Cookout launched August 7 2016 and has had a great first year and has attracted radio and TV coverage, each event getting bigger and bigger.
What’s on the menu
Authentic Jamaican food by Birmingham’s street food trader Mr Jerk serving dishes such as Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Roast Fish, Ox-tail, Curry Goat, Callaloo and Pumpkin mix, Rice and Peas and much more.
Bar List
RUM COCKTAILS! Wray and Nephew and Appleton Estate rum is top of the list. There will be a special birthday cocktail for the event as well as the delicious Reggae Caribbean Cookout Rum Punch. If rum is not for you then there is cold Red Stripe beer as well as the usual bar drinks.
Music
Vintage Studio One to get the vibes started and live music from Midlands Reggae, Ska and Dub band The Empty Lines. Also Reggae open mic.
Entry is only £1.00 (food and drink sold separately) Children under 16 enter free and must be with a adult.
