BIRMINGHAM BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL – OCTOBER 26th-28th
Whether you are a regular drinker of real ale, occasional sampler or you have never tried real ale before this is a great day out.
The Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA)’s Beer & Cider Festival takes place over three fantastic days! With more than 200 real ales and ciders and perries, they are certain they can find a drink to suit your taste.

VINTAGE KILO SALE – OCTOBER 7th
The UK’s original kilo sale heads back to Birmingham with over 6 tonnes of vintage clothing. The hugely popular vintage market returns to the Custard Factory on Saturday 7th October and there’s going to be plenty of bargains on offer!

DIGBETH OKTOBERFEST – OCTOBER 6TH/7TH
The Bavarian beer loving Old Crown and German sausage loving team behind Digbeth’s Spring Market have got together to bring you the return of Digbeth’s Oktoberfest.
Over two weekends in September (29th & 30th) and October (6th & 7th) The Old Crown’s Beer Garden will be transformed into a covered German beer hall with traditional bench seating for up to 350 guests a night. For those four nights there will be a true Oktoberfest celebration complete with huge steins, Bavarian larger, German games, authentic German food street food, and live entertainment!

2-DAY GLASS-MAKING COURSE WITH ADAM HUSSAIN – OCTOBER 28th/29th
Resident Custard Factory glassmaker Adam Hussain is offering up a chance to learn new creative skills. You can enjoy a fun, friendly and informative two day glass course focusing on fusing and slumping techniques in his contemporary studio setting. The course is suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to develop their basic glass skills. There are dates available in October and November – get all the details of the glass courses below.

THE LIBERTINES NIGHT – 15 YEARS OF UP THE BRACKET – OCTOBER 7th
Up The Bracket, the debut album from The Libertines turns 15 this month and to celebrate The Mockingbird Cinema & Kitchen and Snobs Nightclub have teamed up to offer the ultimate Libs Night.
A special documentary screening of The Libertines – There Are No Innocent Bystanders at the Mockingbird Cinema will be followed by a special club night at Snobs in Birmingham city centre later on. Get all the details by following the link.

Amateur Bakers! Are you ready for Digbeth’s newest cake makers club? On the last Monday of each month, Chitty’s Cakes will host a fun get together to discuss a baking book and taste bakes from it, all in the cosy surroundings of the Chitty’s Cakes shop at the Custard Factory.
