Hyatt Regency Birmingham’s signature restaurant and bar, Aria, has launched a cocktail masterclass. Guests will hear the history and creative influence behind each drink and get to show off their skills by making their own cocktails. Whether they prefer to shake or stir, the guests will have a go at using a variety tools and methods to perfectly combine their favourite spirits and mixers.
The cocktail masterclass takes place in an elegant private bar area and groups will be shown the ropes by one of the talented cocktail connoisseurs.
Private groups can choose three cocktails from a list of house specialities. Choices include The Secret Garden signature cocktail, a floral mix of house-infused cucumber and celery vodka with mint and elderflower. Or alternatively, the Dame Rose provides a fruit explosion of Chambord with lemon.
Suitable for groups of up to six people, the masterclass is a great way to celebrate special occasions like birthdays or hen parties. It also works perfectly as a team activity as part of a weekday business stay at the hotel.
Classes start from £25 per person and include three cocktails or if they’re feeling peckish, guests can also enjoy the masterclass plus additional canapes for £28 per person.
