Kingfisher, Redditch has launched four weeks of summer fun for local children throughout the school summer holidays come rain or shine.
Families are invited to Kingfisher’s indoor summer garden that will host a variety of free exciting and educational events and activities, games and a special guest appearance from the Gruffalo on Friday the 17th August.
There will also be a mixture of craft activities, retail demonstrations from children’s stores such as Flying Tiger, 360 Play and Hawkins Bazaar, as well as a Teddy Bears’ Picnic and a superhero party. All of the summer activity will be free and inclusive of anyone who wishes to take part.
The four weeks of summer activity has followed the launch of Redditch’s first ever escape experience, Escape Challenge, which is also child friendly to those over 12 years old.
Domonique Lippett, Marketing Manager at Kingfisher has said: “We’re very excited to launch our indoor summer garden and welcome some summer fun to Kingfisher. Our aim is to keep our younger guests entertained whilst they are at Kingfisher and we hope our series of educational and engaging activities will do just this!”
The summer activity will run until the 17th August in the summer garden, located outside Debenhams. For more information, check out the Kingfisher Facebook and page or visit the Kingfisher website: https://www.kingfishershopping.co.uk/
