The first May bank holiday weekend sees one of Birmingham’s most iconic venues – Lab 11 celebrating 3 years and sees the launch of the brand new Archway Terrace. Set in the bustling heart of the renascent city, the newly invigorated space will host a series of in-house and externally promoted nights, the brand new casual dining experience Street Banquet, and specially curated events for the thriving arts and cultural scene. The venue’s capacity is increasing and the new terrace will be set under the grand Victorian Viaducts of Digbeth, with the latest sound and light installations.
On Saturday 2nd May, Street Banquet brings a whole new dimension to food and drink to the city. Upcycled materials including old wooden reels, pallets, scaffold boards and oil barrels have been utilised creating a whole new way to eat, drink and hang out for the entire family.
The site is just 100 steps from the Bullring, a disused yard under the Victorian Viaducts sheltered from the elements with plenty of car parking close by.
Langley’s Gin have devised a fully immersive Gin experience served from our brand new Gin Shack including a range of bespoke cocktails together with a specially crafted G&T menu.
Loki Wines will be offering a selection of fine wines available by the bottle or glass chosen to match the Street Food on offer. Two Towers Brewery will also be on site offering a fine selection of their most popular ales.
