Popular city centre bar, The Botanist, is transforming into a beach on Wednesday 15 June to celebrate National Beer Day.
From 6pm the Temple Street bar is transforming its terrace into a Hawaiian paradise for its Beachin’ Beer Day event, complete with palm trees and beach balls.
During the evening Byatt brewery, the makers of Phoenix Gold, will be hosting demonstrations about the brewing process and sharing their insight into one of the nation’s favourite drinks.
Beer Day Britain is the UK’s first national beer day and will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday 15 June. At 7pm there will be a nationwide Cheers to Beers, where people will be encouraged to share their support for the drink using #CheerstoBeers.

Beachin’ Beer Day is a great way to kick off summer here at The Botanist, and we hope our regulars and new customers alike will enjoy our beer themed celebrations this 15 June.
Tasting cards for the evening are available to buy in advance or can be purchased on the door, they are priced at £12.50 and include four pints of beer. There will also be a selection of mini BBQ food available to purchase on the night.
