Opened in December 2015, 40 St Paul’s brings a wealth of cocktail making experience and knowledge to the second city.
Brum now has a wealth of independent cocktail and gin bars, from the Jekyll & Hyde to Island Bar, The Bureau to Bourne & Co, we really have never had it so good and 40 St Paul’s looks like it’s here to stay!
Just a 15 minute walk down to St Paul’s Square in the Jewellery Quarter, you will find a scattering of great bars, but 40 St Paul’s does offer something quite special with regards to cocktails and it is well worth the short walk down, or a nip into when in the area.
40 St Paul’s is a lounge environment, serving the best gin and tonics in the country alongside a small, curated, gin-focused cocktail menu. The menu is flavour-matched with home made tonic water and other infusions; garnished with fresh fruit, herbs, and spices; and served in beautiful glassware.
It’s a cosy affair, with seating for 24 and those can easily be filled. Birmingham needs more independents like this, with people who are passionate and original in what they provide the savvy local and those who visit Brum with high expectations.
40 St Paul’s – where we believe the act of social imbibing should be a stimulating, creative experience, inspired by European social culture. We create visually appealing drinks, developing atmospheric and artistic social concepts that bring drinks to life.
