Located on Bennetts Hill opposite the South American inspired Bodega Cantina and next to Wetherspoons, The Sun on The Hill stands out as a cool, upbeat city centre bar.
Far from commercial, this establishment is quirky and independently run with trendy locals, party-going students and after-work office drinkers.
The Sun on The Hill offers people in the city centre a place to meet and socialise in relaxed friendly surroundings and it’s recently had a make-over, with a slightly saloon-style ambiance.
Bare brick and blue painted wood features are highlighted by a Victorian feel which fits well with the architecture of surrounding streets.
There has been good care and attention taken when delivering the bar’s menus, considering the bar is sandwiched between a Wetherspoons and a Michelin star restaurant, the food on offer hits the spot.
