Sitting at the bottom of Constitution Hill, and a stone’s throw from Snow Hill is The Wolf craft ale bar.
The Wolf is a Birmingham born and bred family business. Having ventured down to London for 10 years to learn the trade, the owners have returned to their homeland to fly the craft ale flag for the second city!
This quirky pub has opened within a stunning Victorian building, with floor to ceiling windows which look out onto the busy street scene of Constitution Hill. Inside you will find a large premises with ample seating and a nice chilled vibe with semi-industrial decor. There is a growing array of graffiti style artwork, an adornment of pictures, bottles and colourful collection of pump badge clips which all add to the craft ale intrigue.
On tap is an impressive selection of craft ales and beer, with kegs which are constantly changing throughout the month. The owners are passionate about providing thirsty Brummies with the best craft beers whether it be in a can, bottle or on tap. Talking of the taps, the hand pulls have the coolest handles, brought over from America they are of various animals including, not one, but two wolves.
It’s not all about craft ale though, there are some great wines and premium spirits. Check out the latest beer boards here.
