A young dance entrepreneur, from Solihull, reached for the stars Friday evening in aid of Children in Need.
Danni Cash, artistic director and choreographer of Dc2 Entertainment and Dance Company, which provides quality dance performances for all type of events, performed on stilts for two-hours straight and hosted a Facebook Live virtual fire dancing show to raise money for Children in Need.
The virtual performance was open to everyone and started at 6pm on Friday 13th November before the Children in Need show at 7pm and can be found https://www.facebook.com/events/733753404016449/ .Danni has already raised over £100 for Children in Need and is hoping to reach her target of £400.
Danni started the dance company in January 2019 and provides quality dance performances for awards ceremonies and flash mobs to private functions and weddings. Her business has been hit hard during the Covid-19 pandemic due to large venues being closed and the limited number of people being able to gather. However, Danni was still keen to support Children in Need and help those less fortunate, particularly at this difficult time.
Danni commented: “Covid-19 has affected so many people and I just wanted to do something positive during this difficult time. Children in Need is such a worthy cause as it helps children and young people right across the UK and everyone deserves a good start in life. Also, being at home at the moment isn’t much fun for people, particularly now it is dark so early and as the saying goes the show must go on, so why not bring a live performance to make people smile while helping a good cause.”
