Love is in the air this February |
We’ve made it through what feels like the longest month of the year by doing what we do best – keeping busy in the Gardens, and now it’s time to share the love this February! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, plan a romantic stroll around our scenic Gardens. For a winter warmer, our tearoom is open for takeaways – so you can enjoy a hot drink and a sweet treat while you explore the Gardens with your loved ones. |
Win a book voucher worth £20 this February half term |
During February half term, Monday 15th to Friday 19th February, children can dress up as their favourite book character to be in with a chance of winning a book voucher worth £20. We have two vouchers to give away to the best fancy dress. To enter, find the perfect spot to take a photo in the Gardens, get snapping and upload your photos to social media and tag us in them, or send them to us via email. Children can also participate in our competition from home too. |
Put a spring into your step |
We might still be in winter, but there are welcome signs that spring is just around the corner as we welcome new life into the Gardens as snowdrops and daffodils start to appear. As you enjoy your daily exercise in the grounds, you’ll be able to spot a range of plants beginning to burst into life. |
A touch of frost |
It looks like we could be in for snow again soon. While the Gardens look magical in the snow, our paths can become slippery for our visitors – so please take care when visiting the Gardens this winter. Please check our website and social media channels ahead of your visit for any updates from the Gardens, after all, we all know how temperamental British weather can be! |
Pick up the perfect Mother’s Day gift |
It’s never too early to plan ahead, so while you’re at the Gardens pop into our garden centre where you can pick up the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. We also have a range of beautiful cards for any occasion, or just as a special surprise to make someone’s day. |
