Moda, Loudon’s Yard has partnered with Edgbaston Village residents to launch a series of botanical-themed specials, including a pizza and cocktail, available for guests to enjoy from 5th June
To mark the news that reservations are now live for Moda, Loudon’s Yard, Moda Living is partnering with local independent businesses, Smoke & Ash and Chapter, to launch a series of specially curated menu items, inspired by botanical artist and gardening publisher Jane Wells Webb Loudon.
The independent eateries, located on Greenfield Crescent in Edgbaston Village, have each created a menu special with a botanical theme as part of the partnership. Chapter, which opened in 2021 with the aim of showcasing British cuisine, has created ‘Loudon’s Choice’, a gin cocktail containing Edinburgh Gin, honey, syrup, lemon, and fresh mint, all served in a champagne flute, with a cucumber bitters-rinsed rim. The cocktail will feature on Chapter’s drinks specials menu for the rest of the summer.
Smoke & Ash, the popular pizzeria which opened its doors in 2022, has created a limited-edition pizza to match the theme. ‘Loudon’s Slice’ is a Neapolitan-style white pizza, topped with fior di latte mozzarella, homemade lemon and rocket ricotta, fresh garden peas, pancetta, fresh rocket and lemon zest shavings, mint, basil, and burrata. The pizza will be available to order from the specials menu for two weeks.
The special menu items are available to order from Chapter and Smoke & Ash from the 5th of June and mark Moda’s commitment to ensure that Moda, Loudon’s Yard becomes part of Edgbaston’s already thriving community.
