New hub for global street food, arts and culture at No21Digbeth

The opening launch was an overwhelming success, with hundreds of food loving fans flocking to a converted indoor Food Warehouse to enjoy fantastic Cocktails, Global Street food, draft Beers and craft Ales with live music.

Pop up Chefs like the Indian Butcher dazzled everyone with their Tandoori Oven Clay with authentic mixed grills, Grill Brazil wooed the crowd with their Picanha to Birmingham for the 1st time. Boxfood supplied Vegan Caribbean dishes to the masses and The Lebanese Kitchen delighted everyone with their Lamb soaked dishes.

The Hot Rum Punch Buckets went down as a huge success, and had people queuing for them all night long, and quirky Cocktails were being served in all sorts of jars to make the evening as fun as possible.

There was also a Vintage living room curated for people who wanted to wind down after a long day with a TV set…its all very weird and wonderful.

Friday’s also shows support to New and Emerging Talent, by giving new traders the chance to experiment and really play with ideas without the pressure of having to take on a restaurant. With new chefs starting up whole new pop-up experience, Taste and Liquor aims to support new chefs, throughout the year.
