Norwegian Acoustic Folk Instrumental Artist Jon Werede Hope Tours UK This Summer

Oxford, United Kingdom, 19th June 2024 – Kiana Arnott-Job Artist Management announced today that the Norwegian Acoustic Jazz Folk Instrumental artist Jon Werede Hope, also known as nokretonar, will be touring the United Kingdom in a selection of venues this Summer. Confirmed to make appearances in Oxford, London, Reading, Birmingham and Manchester, Jon Werede Hope will take to the stage with Henry Lowrey, a British musician who will also provide a supporting set on the tour. Tickets are currently available to purchase on various sites now.
Creating harmonious soundscapes with an acoustic guitar and a trusty Boss RC30 loop pedal, Jon Werede Hope has gained a well-deserved reputation as an exceptional musician in Norway, and now makes his performance debut in the United Kingdom. A trained dancer from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Jon Werede Hope knows how to captivate an audience and take them on an intimate and soul-searching journey through organic improvisation.

Performing alongside Jon Werede Hope will be Henry Lowrey, a British guitarist and mandolinist, obsessed with traditional folk music from the UK and across the world. Equipped with a bachelor degree in Ethnomusicology from SOAS, University of London, as well as vast experience from sessions across the country, Henry is excited to embrace his first national tour with Jon Werede Hope.
