Owlstock, Birmingham’s beloved Woodstock-inspired festival, returns to The Night Owl on Sunday 28th August. With live performances from tribute acts and local artists, DJs spinning the best Woodstock sounds, street food and more it’s set to be a fantastic festival.
You can enjoy a fantastic lineup consisting of Are You Experienced? (the best Jimi Hendrix tribute), The Daybreakers (performing Muddy Waters’ Electric Mud in its entirety as well as their own material), the acoustic stylings of Liamosino, Acoustic Who (A not-so-acoustic tribute to The Who) and a brand new, Midlands-based, blues duo The Preach. There will also be DJs Alexandra Rose, Richard Bamber and more on the decks throughout the day playing an eclectic mix of 60s and 70s, psychedelia, rock and more.
The brilliant Dining by Dalton returns this year to serve up the most delicious street food around. Last year’s menu included standard and vegan chicken tikka dishes that had people coming back for more! The Night Owl will also be serving up their signature cocktails as well as some Woodstock-themed specials.
Owlstock began back in 2019 as a 50 year celebration of the iconic Woodstock festival. But, this year, The Night Owl are going bigger and better with live performances taking place across both their Birmingham and London venues as well as streaming live to the Night Owl TV. While the Birmingham lineup is already amazing, there will be a video livestream of the festival at Finsbury Park onto the Digbeth venue’s screens. Plus, if you can’t attend the festival (you poor thing) you have the very fortunate chance to watch every single band from both lineups performing live on the Night Owl TV.
