Rosie Tee is a songwriter, composer & performer based in Birmingham, UK. Her sound has been dubbed a ‘grown-up brand of art-pop’ by The Unsigned Guide. Hailed as ‘transcendent’ and ‘genre-defying’, her contemporary approach to songwriting straddles the contrasting worlds of alt-pop, rising UK Jazz & contemporary classical. Colour and image are at the centre of Tee’s lyrical writing, depicting imagined scenes and scenarios. Her sound is inspired by that of Laura Mvula, Björk & Anna Meredith. This show will celebrate the launch of Rosie’s latest single ‘Wither’, released on all platforms 22nd November.
Oystercatcher is a music collective based in Manchester. At its core are vocals and bass duo Caitlin Laing and Tom Chapman, but their philosophy is to make each live performance unique by constantly varying line-ups and arrangements. Following their South Africa tour, don’t miss Oystercatcher’s debut Birmingham show, forming part of a UK tour in support of their EP release. They use their freedom as arrangers to explore different soundworlds in the studio, braving unorthodox techniques to create recordings that have a separate identity to their live performances.
Eloise Fabbri brings a sense of menace combined with smokey vocal tones to create performances not to be missed. From her home of Guernsey, she brings torch songs arranged with piano accompaniment for this one off and intimate night.
