On Thursday the 6th of October, Seventh Circle Gallery in Moseley will release an exclusive, brand new original portrait entitled, ‘Gold Dust Woman’ along with signed limited edition prints, by internationally collected, Birmingham artist, Laura Tinald.
Rockstar. Free spirit. Gravelly-voiced Goddess, Stevie Nicks, looks effortlessly cool in Laura’s portrait, her style perfectly capturing the songbird’s essence.
Laura herself is inspired by icons of the late 70s and early 80s – the colour palette she chooses is influenced by the aesthetic of that time. A master of her medium, Laura predominantly works in inks and pencil on paper and brings her subjects to life through intricate detail juxtaposed with bold, confident lines and loose ink. While her portraits look effortless, her process is meticulous.
To celebrate the launch of her first, exclusive Seventh Circle Gallery release, Laura will be making an appearance at the gallery on Saturday 8th October, between 3pm and 5pm.
