Night Howlers’ is a brand new comedy event launching on Wednesday 4th November at The Night Owl, playing host to a handpicked selection of the best up and coming comedy acts from across the UK.
Guests can enjoy comedy from three/four acts during the evening, all varying in styles but still all guaranteed to get you in fits of laughter.
Headliner Mark Cram has shared stages with the likes of Gary Delaney, Shazia Mirza & Nick Helm as well as enjoying stand out performances on stages across the UK including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival – Mark woes crowds with tales of his family, dead-end jobs and his sexuality.
Birmingham based Lovdev Barpaga is a truly endearing and unique comic, capturing the hearts of the room with an incredible likeable charm, often finding himself laughing more than those he pleases to entertain. He was crowned the UK pun champion in 2017 is frequently referred to as the asian Ken Goodwin.
Funny women 2019 finalist, Ceyla Ab, brings a breath of fresh air to the venues she graces with a daft and strange yet warm stage persona. Ceyla is originally from Paris but now calls Birmingham her home, often appearing at the city’s notorious Glee Club.
The evening will be MC’d by Jo Coffey who is a regular on the uk stand up circuit and also used to present on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
This event offers guests the opportunity to not only have a giggle but Dining By Dalton will be serving street food to guests at the event as part of their ticket purchase.
The Night Owl is a soul and retro club and live music venue located in Digbeth that has adapted to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions by trading off busy club nights for new seated, socially distanced events including brunch events run every Saturday.
