Acknowledging the influences of T-Bone Walker, Albert King, Muddy Waters and Duke Robillard, The Grey Goose Blues Band were nominated in the Best Song Category of The Kevin Thorpe Memorial Award in the 2013 British Blues Awards, the band are no strangers to media acclaim. “One of the best newcomers to the blues scene in 2011” wrote Blues Matters while Blues In Britain carried “superb musicianship, lyrically imaginative, excellent phrasing, accomplished and dramatic.”

Sunday 10th April – BIRMINGHAM BOTANICAL GARDENS
The weekly season of blues bands on Sunday afternoons in Birmingham’s idyllic Botanical Gardens continues after last Sunday’s relaunch with The Martin Burch Band.The sessions run from 2pm to 4pm, with the Gardens open from 10am to 5pm. Admission price is the normal Botanical Gardens (£6.75 per adult, free entry for children under 5) with no additional cost for the music.
