Birmingham’s newest and largest wine bar, Vinoteca, has officially arrived, with its doors opening to the public on Monday 18th July.
Open seven days a week, the 150-cover venue offers a modern-British food menu with a European twist. Small dishes include Neal’s Yard Cheese Croquettes and Smoked Burrata, while main courses feature Spatchcock Poussin, Casarecce Pasta, Scottish Bavette Steak and Dorset Clams.
Paddle tasters, ‘Acid Hound’ and ‘Pink Punk’, offer the chance to try three white or rose wines from just £10, while an award-winning drinks list spanning more than 200 bins means guests can discover flavours from all over the world, with bottles available to take home at a discounted price from the on-site wine shop.
Charlie Young, co-founder of Vinoteca, commented:
We’ve loved watching the venue take shape, and after a successful soft launch period, are delighted to be able to open the doors to Birmingham. The team is looking forward to inviting guests in to make new wine discoveries, whilst enjoying freshly-prepared dishes within a relaxed and welcoming environment.
To mark the launch, Vinoteca will be installing a pop-up photo booth on the terrace of its new Paradise location on Thursday 21st July, where passers-by will be invited to capture the milestone by taking a complimentary photo, which will entitle them to a free glass of wine on their next visit.
